The Range & Classroom

The Range:

The Range is located about 200 yards from the classroom and has its own parking area so students can ether drive or walk from one to the other.  The range is paved and lined for the shooting distances that are required for the License To Carry proficiency test.  There is a good sized covered area with picnic tables in the shade (or out of the rain) for teaching or just watching action.

The Range is capable of allowing shooting from distances out past 400 yards and we often use steel targets or plate racks to augment the paper targets in our classes.  We have portable barricades and barrels on site for advanced classes.

There is a port-o-potty on the range.  It is kept clean.

The Classroom:

The Classroom and our office are located in Building 3 of the property.  The classroom can easily accomodate classes of up to 60 students.  There is a full size refridgerator located in the classroom for use by the students and clean restrooms are located in the adjacent building.  The classroom is heated and Air Conditioned.

The range and classroom are located at Kittyhawk Flying Field in Schertz, TX. The address is 20180 FM 2252, San Antonio, TX 78266. If you get into the rough vicinity then the photo of the entrance below should be enough to get you the rest of the way. Trust us, it’s not that difficult to find.
